The web server processes your IP address and request data to deliver and protect the site (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). Fonts and images are served locally.

The Free download does not require an email address. If you optionally sign up for Free release updates or join the Pro waitlist, we store your email address and signup time on the site server in separate lists (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR). Free signup is for Free release updates; the Pro waitlist is for one Pro release email. We keep each entry until you withdraw consent or its list closes. Email hallo@jukes.studio to withdraw consent or request deletion. No mailing provider is connected yet.

We use self-hosted Plausible Analytics and Rybbit to understand how this website is used (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). Both services run on our Hostinger VPS in Frankfurt, Germany. Your browser sends page visits to plausible.jukes.cloud and rybbit.jukes.cloud. The services receive your IP address and browser information with these requests. They do not receive your waitlist email address from the signup form.

Plausible records page paths, referral sources, visit times, approximate location, browser, operating system, device type, outbound-link clicks, and form-submission counts. It derives a visitor identifier from IP address and browser information with a salt that changes daily; it does not store the raw IP address or full browser identifier in its analytics database.

Rybbit records page paths and titles, URL parameters, referral sources, visit times and duration, approximate location, browser and device information, and outbound-link clicks. It uses your IP address temporarily to determine location and derive a pseudonymous visitor identifier from IP address and browser information. Raw IP address storage is disabled for this site, and the identifier is salted with a key that changes daily. Session replay, error tracking, and form-interaction tracking are disabled. Neither service uses analytics cookies on this website. Analytics records remain on our self-hosted server until they are deleted; no automatic deletion period is currently configured.

Maccelerate Free processes input and information about apps, windows, and Spaces locally. Settings stay on your Mac; it has no telemetry or usage statistics. Optional Sparkle update checks contact the official GitHub feed and releases, which receive your IP address and user agent. Automatic checks are off by default; keyboard input and window contents are not sent.

About the demo

The interactive Mac screens illustrate transitions; their timings are not benchmarks. Maccelerate Free is based on InstantSpaceSwitcher and is MIT licensed. Appearance and Statistics screenshots show design previews for the planned Pro edition.
